دراسة تحليلية لأبحاث الإدارة التربوية العربية المنشورة في بعض الدوريات العالمية المتخصصة

This study aimed to analyze the Arab educational management studies published in some specialized international journals between 2000 and 2016. Content analysis was employed to achieve the objectives of the study which included an investigation of the volume of knowledge production and how it changed over the study period. It also included the geographical and institutional distribution of the published research, the nature of studies in terms of being theoretical or empirical and in terms of the research methods used, in addition to the topics addressed by the research. The results showed that the volume of Arab participation in publishing in the selected journals is very small compared to the total published knowledge. The majority of studies were empirical with a relative tendency to use quantitative methods. As for research topics, it was found that the studies addressed a large number of topics, most notably school leadership, performance development in universities, the school principal, and organizational behavior in universities.
