The current study aimed to reveal the attitudes of the Saudi family to append their children in private education schools, also to investigate their opinions through their real experience about the importance and usefulness of this type of education, in the light of some variables. This study is classified as an analytical descriptive study. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive analytical method of social survey sample was used. Data were collected by a questionnaire, after verifying its validity, was distributed to a random sample of (54) from parents of high school students. The results of the study showed that the reason behind Saudi families' attitudes towards the private schools is because of the foreign languages (38%), and constant communication with school management (40%), and because of using modern learning methods such as education and computer education (38%). The most prominent problems that faced Saudi families experience with private education is the lack of attention to the development of cultural and religious values (31%), Siding and some teachers to students who occupy high positions families (37%), and the increase of the tuition fees (33.3%). The study recommended the need to determine the tuition fees charged by schools, and give equal opportunities and standards between Government and private schools in terms of: professional development, training, reward, and focus on outreach activities and awareness-raising, especially regarding the culture of Saudi society and Islamic doctrine, regulation to curb administrative corruption, achieving international quality standards in private education, including curriculum decisions of cultural, religious. Also polarization of experienced and skilled teachers and modern teaching professions. (Published abstract)
