أثر استعمال تكنولوجيا المعلومات في تحصيل تلاميذ الصف الخامس الإبتدائي بمادة الاجتماعيات



The current study aims to explore the effect of using Information Technology (IT) in the fifth grad students’ achievement in humanities. The research design used a partial adjustment experimental approach. The participants were the fifth grade students at primary schools in the General Directorate for Education of Diyala. Participants were a class (B) of fifth grade students at AL-Karam primary school in Balad Ruz City. A control class (A), consisting of 36 students, continued to be tough according to the traditional approach, without IT. All participants in (A and B) were 71 students. Both groups were selected according to the same variables (students’ age, smartness, and last year grads). A T-test was applied with the validation of it’s genuinely and stability. An appropriate statistical tools were used to analyses the data such Difficulty Coefficient, T-test and Spearman-Brown Formula. Results indicate that incorporation of IT into students’ curriculum improved learning outcomes. Recommendations arising from the current imbedding of IT study include education subjects, to improve students’ motivation for across learning and to improve the effectiveness of teaching methods. Further studies should consider other variables. (Published abstract)
