The purpose of the study was to identify the role of the Social Fund for Development in Dhamar Governorate and Al Baidabranch in the development of education in the two governorates since the beginning of 1999 until the end of October 2017. To achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive method was used, such as the use of document analysis as a research tool. The study projects was formed from all the official documents of the educational projects submitted by the Fund since the beginning of 1999 until the end of October 2017. After collecting the data and analyzing them using the appropriate statistical methods such as repetitions and percentages, the study reached a number of results, the most important of which are the following: 1) The Social Fund for Development in Dhamar Governorate and Al Baida branch has completed since its inception until the end of October 2017 (1105) projects, including 620 completed projects related to the development of education by (56%)of the total projects completed,(485) projects related to the rest of the development projects by (44%) of the completed projects. 2) The completed projects were divided into phases of the four operations of the Fund and the Emergency Response Plan. If the third phase (2004-2010) was ranked first in completing the projects, (539) projects were completed with( 48%), while the Emergency Response Plan (206-2017) ranked fifth and final If the number of completed projects (10) projects by 1% of the total projects completed for all stages of the operations of the Fund. 3) The total number of projects completed through the Education Unit reached (420) completed projects by (38%) of the total projects completed since the establishment of the Fund, Dhamar and Al Baidha branch. While the number of projects completed through the rest of the units (685) projects completed by (62%). 4) The total number of completed projects related to the development of education through units (training and institutional support, social protection, water and environment, and emergency programs unit) since the establishment of Dhamar and El Baida branch until the end of October 2017 amounted to (200) projects of the total projects completed for these units. In light of the results of the study, a number of recommendations and proposals were restricted. (Published abstract)
