The present study aimed at identifying the differentiated thinking styles of high and low emotional creativity (EC) in light of Sternberg's theory and its relationship with gender among a sample of university students. The study sample consisted of (396) male and female students teachers at the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University, who are enrolled in graduate programs. Instrumentally, the present study used: Emotional Creativity Scale (EC) by Averrill, 1999(modified to Arabic by the present researchers), list of thinking styles by Sternberg&Wagner,1991 (modified to Arabic by (Abu Hashem, 2007). The study results showed that thinking styles differentiated by EC among university students. Also, both thinking styles and EC were differentiated by sex. (Published abstract)
