The current research aimed at developing visual reasoning scale using item response theory, the sample consisted of (948) students from Primary Three to Secondary Two; from Cairo and Qalyuibia governorates. The scale consisted of (102) items, the main results; Calibrating a set of items from different scales on one scale to measure the visual reasoning ability, determine the validity and reliability for the scale, determine the standards which explain the levels of person abilities.
