درجة إمكانية تطبيق المعايير الإدارية للهيئة الوطنية الأمريكية لبرامج التعليم والرعاية المبكرة ومعيقات تطبيقها في إدارة رياض الأطفال في العاصمة عمان من وجهة نظر المديرات والمعلمات



The study seeks to determine the extent to which it would be possible to apply the administrative (management) standards of the National American Association for Education and Early Care Programs and the obstacles to implement them in managing kindergartens in the capital, Amman. To achieve the objectives of the study the descriptive survey methodology was utilized, through developing a questionnaire consisting of (71) paragraphs and the obstacles of application (25) paragraphs, and their credibility and stability were ascertained, and the study tool was distributed to the kindergartens directors and teachers in the capital Amman numbering (44) principals and (74) teachers. Actually, (40) questionnaires were collected from the kindergartens principals, and (67) questionnaires from the teachers. What was recovered is considered the study sample, and represents 53% of the principals and 38% of the teachers. The findings of the study showed that the degree of the possibility of applying the standards of the National American Association for Education and Early Care Programs was high, where the arithmetic mean was (3.71) and the standard deviation was (1.02), and all the performance standards were between medium and high, whereby the arithmetic means were between (3.04-4.39) Moreover, the findings indicated that there are no statistically significant differentials at the significant degree between the averages of response to the degree of the possibility of apply the administrative standards of the National American Association of the Education and Early Care Programs in managing kindergartens in the capital Amman from the standpoint of the principals and teachers that are attributable to the position (job) variable, based on the (t) test pertaining to the variable of the possibility of applying the administrative standards which amounted to (-1.85) and of a degree of significance (0.09), in addition to the lack of statistical significance insofar as all the standards. The results also showed that the degree of the presence of obstacles to applying the standards of the National American Association for Education and Early Care in kindergartens in the capital Amman from the standpoint of the principals and the teachers was medium, where the arithmetic mean amounted to (2.99) and the standard deviation (0.77), where all the obstacles were between medium and high, and the arithmetic means ranged between 2.39-3.79. Moreover, the results (findings) showed that the presence of statistically significant differentials at the significance degree (a=0.05) for the presence of obstacles related to applying the administrative standards for the National American Association for Education and Early Care Programs in managing kindergartens in the capital Amman from the standpoint of principals and teachers which are attributable to the variable of educational credentials in favor of the position of the teacher for the variable of the academic credential and in favor of the doctoral segment, and the presence of credentials attributable to the variable of five years of service and in favor of those with an experience of ten years and more. Among the foremost recommendations of the study is for the headmistress of the kindergarten and the teachers to have a specialization in kindergarten coupled with the necessity for the kindergarten to have an independent building.
