Study goals is researching to know the extent degree of social studies books contribution at the basic education stage in developing the values of dealing with others in Sultanate of Oman by analyzing the social studies books content and analyzing the teachers scientific subject opinions. To achieve the study goals, the researcher prepared a list of dealing with the other values, consisting of 32 values, distributed over 4 areas, as by 8 values in each field. Then the researcher prepared the content of these four fields and values listed therein to form a questionnaire that was directed to random samples from 120 social studies teachers at Al Dakhiliya Governorate in Sultanate of Oman. This was in order to obtain the teachers ’opinion on extent degree of social studies books contribution at the basic education stage in developing the values of dealing with others in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher also prepared a social studies books contents analysis continued from the fifth, seventh and ninth grade social studies books basic education to know the mentioned extent values. The research results revealed a low level degree of social studies books contribution at basic education stage in developing dealing with the others values after analyzing the books contents and analyzing the teachers' point of view, as the overall contribution rate ranged from a mild rate to medium rate. The research results also revealed the convergence existence and homogeneity in contribution degree of social studies books at the basic education stage in the Sultanate of Oman in developing dealing with the others values after analyzing the books contents and analyzing the opinions of teachers. The results did not reveal a consensus in the contribution degree of social studies books at basic education stage in developing the citizenship affiliation values after analyzing their contents and taking the teachers' opinion in the four fields when performing the research, but excluding the compatibility in the social studies book in the fifth grade in one field only and the compatibility proportion reached 25%.
