The study aimed at identifying the obstacles of using Portfolio among secondary school students and their attitudes towards it. The study sample consisted of (112) students who were selected by random stratified method. To collect the data, the researcher used a questionnaire comprising three areas (importance, constraints, direction). The results have confirmed the importance of Portfolio as it is a set of self-prepared tasks. The most important obstacle is the lack of sufficient awareness among students about how to use it. The most important trends were the desire for change, innovation and diversity. On the other hand, it has been found that female students tend to like using Portfolio more than male students; scientific-route students desire Portfolio more than literary-route students. In addition, literary-route students encounter more obstacles than scientific-route students. In conclusion, the study recommended the need to hold workshops for teachers, students and parents to familiarize them with Portfolio and its importance in teaching and learning and how to use it and apply it well.
