This study aimed at investigating the obstacles that face teaching physical education in university directorate from the point of view of teachers. The subjects of the study were 30 male and female teachers from the university directorate chosen out of (75) who represent the society of the study. To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisted of 4 fields and( 31) items. After checking the validity and the consistency of the tool, and after conducting the suitable statistical calculations, the findings of the study showed that the four fields ranged between high and middle. The field of training and qualifying teachers get the highest mean score. The field of the viewpoints of the students and their parents get the lowest mean score. The findings showed that there are no statistical significance in the obstacles of teaching physical education attributed to sex and scientific degree and experience. The researcher recommended that universities should review the study plans of the physical education by including educational subjects. And provide material possibilities as tools, and pitches.
