فاعلية برنامج تدريبي مستند إلى نموذج بنترتيك وديجروت في استراتيجيات التعلم المنظم ذاتيا في تخفيض العبء المعرفي لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية العليا
This study aimed at verifying the effectiveness of a training program based on Pintrich and Degroots' model in self-regulation learning strategies in decreasing cognitive load among high elementary school students. The sample of study consisted of (47) 7th elementary grade students assigned to two groups: an experimental (23 students) and a control (24 students). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers developed a (14) sessions training program based on three self-regulation learning strategies: cognitive, metacognitive and learning resource management. The researchers used dual-task performance strategy and a self-rating scale to measure cognitive load. MANOVA repeated measures results showed an increment of typed letters among experimental group in comparison with control group on post-test, while there were no statically significant differences among both groups on self-rating scale of cognitive load scale. According to these results, some recommendations were made. (Published abstract)
