The aim of this study was to develop national standards for financial culture curriculum to measure their availability in the basic stage books in Jordan. In order to achieve the study objectives, the researcher developed standards for financial culture in accordance with the Jordanian environment. The researcher used the descriptive analysis by analyzing the content of the books of the basic. The paragraph has been adopted as a unit for analysis. The study sample consisted of 54 books (mathematics, Arabic language, science, Islamic education, vocational education), from first grade to sixth grade during the academic. The results of the study showed that the standard of expenditure and saving was 0.56%, the management of risk and insurance was 19%, the work and income was 15%, the financial decision making was 06%, the lending and borrowing was 04% and finally, investment was 0%. The results of the study showed the severe lack in the books of the lower stage in dealing with the subjects of financial culture. Therefore, the researcher recommended reconsidering the writing and preparation of the basic stage books so that the criteria of financial culture are more fully considered in accordance with the requirements of the age and the current economic conditions and technological development, and including a book of financial culture in the lower basic stage to develop the concepts and terminology of financial culture since childhood.
