تقييم جودة الممارسات التدريسية لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس الجامعيين من وجهة نظر الطلبة

The study aimed to identify the quality of the teaching practices members of faculty in the university from the students’ point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive-survey design was utilized in this study, where questionnaire used, which consisted of (44) items distributed on six domains (planning and commitment, teaching method, classroom management, evaluation methods, scientific content, and general behaviors) after the confirmation of the validity and reliability, the questionnaire applied on the main sample which consisted of (360) students. Results showed that the level of assessment of students for the practice of teaching came moderately, reaching the arithmetic average total for their estimates of the domains of all (3.65), and the field of planning and commitment came in the first with a mean (4.12), the high degree of exercise, while the domain of classroom management came in ranked sixth and last with a mean (3.26), estimates the average practice, and ranged from averages of the rest of the domains between the values (3.54-3.63), the average level, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average estimates of students due to the variables (sex, academic year, grade point average(gpa). The study suggested appropriate recommendations based on the results, the most important of which was: holding training programs for faculty members in the field of teaching practices based on the latest educational theories.
