The aim of this course is to know the role of national education books in addressing negative issues in the basic stage in Libya, to achieve the goals of the school; the methodology of content analysis was adopted. The preparation of a list of negative social issues, consisting of four issues: social issues, and political, economic, moral, and verified its validity and stability, and consisted of sample study from all books of national education for the basic education stage extending from the seventh grade to the basic ninth grade for the academic year 2016- 2017. The results of the study showed a presence there is a disparity in the inclusion of each of these issues, where negative political issues came first (25), followed by negative social issues (11), followed by moral issues (10) the report concluded with a series of recommendations from the economic and social council, including: more attention to social and economic issues and ethics and lack of focus on issues only political.
