The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the use of emotional intelligence on achievement and the development of contemplative thinking among 11th graders in geography. The study followed the semi-empirical research method. To achieve this goal, the researchers prepared memorized lessons for the use of emotional intelligence in teaching (25) question, and a test in thinking skills, and the number of study members (60) students, divided into two experimental and control groups. The results revealed an effect on the use of emotional intelligence in improving the level of achievement and the development of reflective thinking, in favor of the experimental group that was studied using emotional intelligence.
