The aim of this study was to identify the impact of e-learning on improving the self-learning skills of the students of the course of education and communication technology at Hail University in Saudi Arabia. The study will consist of 60 students from the education and communication technology course for the academic year 2017-2018. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed to measure self-learning skills. It consisted of (45) paragraphs distributed over four fields. The results of the study indicated that there is a statistically significant effect of teaching using e-learning on improving the level of self-learning skills for the benefit of the experimental group. There are statistically significant differences in improving self-learning skills due to sex variable in favor of male students. Sex and e-learning in improving self-learning skills for the benefit of the experimental group. The study reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which was to activate the use of the e-learning system in the educational learning process. (Published abstract)
