This study aimed to identify how to use and employ the web quest strategy in teaching Islamic curriculum and its relation to curriculum elements. The descriptive analytical method was used in order to achieve the objectives of the study, to answer these two questions: what is the relationship between web quest strategy and Islamic curriculum? How to employ web quest strategy in Islamic curriculum? The results of the study show the suitability between the strategy and the elements of Islamic curriculum, in a way that it is suitable with the bases of objective development which represented by development of skills of thinking, creative and critical thinking, discussion and co-existence with the other, and the usage of educational technology, in line with the stability of the content of the curriculum. Also, the strategy is used within the limits of planning and organization, and it was compatible with evaluation strategies and tools. In addition, the results showed the possibility of using the web quest strategy in all lessons of Islamic education in order to allow student to expand knowledge by acquiring the skills of research, inquiry and surfing the web, thus contributing to self-development and access to knowledge. In the light of the findings, the study made a number of relevant recommendations. (Published abstract)
