This study aimed to analyze the content of social textbooks for intermediate stage in the State of Kuwait for the eighth and ninth grades (Kuwait and the Islamic world) (Kuwait and the world) and analyze their content in the light of the problems facing the Kuwaiti society. To achieve the objectives of the study, Of the (50) paragraphs distributed on the areas of social problems (the area of social problems, family, educational and economic) and content analysis form for books. The results of the study showed that the degree of observance of the textbooks of social studies on societal problems according to their fields to varying degrees, and that there is a difference in the degree of observance of the books of social studies of societal problems according to the fields of study. The results of the content analysis showed that the degree of observance of textbooks for social problems came in the following order: Environmental problems, economic problems, educational problems, family problems.
