Detect the impact of using the strategy of Learning by Playingin Social Studies on development of creative thinking among third intermediate grade students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study was followed by a semi-experimental method. The sample of the study consists (45) of the third grade students from Musab bin Omair School for males, was selected by the random method. The experimental group consists (23) Students studied by using the strategy of playing, and the control group (22) students studied in the usual way. The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences in the development of creative thinking skills in general and for the benefit of the experimental group. There was also a statistically significant difference in the development of trends towards the subject of social and national studies for the benefit of the experimental group. The general arithmetic mean of the experimental group was 15.62 and 10.71 on the post-test, General account of the experimental group on the test of tribal trends (72.3) and (052.4) on the post-test. Which indicates an improvement in the level of performance of the experimental group members in the post-application of the tests of creative thinking and trends towards the material? The results showed an effect on the use of the strategy of learning by playing in the teaching of social and national studies on the development of creative thinking skills and attitudes towards the material among the third grade students in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia.
