فاعلية برنامج تدريبي لتنمية الكفايات المعرفية للوقاية من الإعاقة في عيّنة أردنية من أولياء الأمور والمعلمين



The purpose of the study was to create a training program to improve the cognitive skills of prevention disability in a Jordanian sample of parents and teachers. The sample consisted of (60) parents and teachers who were chosen intentionally from Bunat Alghad Academy and categorized into: Teachers with applied specialties, teachers of the humanities specialties, Parents who have children with disabilities, Parents who have normal children without any disabilities. The validity of the scale and its reliability were achieved and verified in two ways: Content validity: The scale was presented to a group of arbitrators, and all the notes and amendments proposed by the arbitrators were taken. Construct validity: items correlation efficient were extracted with the domains to which they belong ...co were all of high or acceptable discrimination coefficient. The reliability of the scale was achieved by test re-test procedure (n=30, r=5.92) and by renters agreement procedure (n=30, r=5.86). The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences 5.05 between test and pretest in all sub-areas of the cognitive competence scale for disability prevention. The results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences in the post-test of knowledge competencies according to the variable of the teacher's specialization in all sub-fields of the cognitive skills scale for the prevention of disability. The results indicate that there were no statistically significant differences in post-test of knowledge competencies according to the status of parents in all sub-areas of the cognitive skills scale for disability prevention. The study recommends to conduct studies on larger samples in the Kingdom representing larger areas for other categories of disability. (Author’s abstract)
