The study aimed at identifying The Extent of Embedding the Refinement Values in the Intermediate Islamic Education Textbooks in the Republic of Iraq. The descriptive approach was used by deploying the content analysis method. Content analysis checklist of 26 refinement values was developed and divided into two domains; the Social refinement values, and the personal refinement values. The sample of the study consisted of Islamic Education textbooks of the first, second and third intermediate grades. The results of the study revealed that the Islamic Education textbooks of the middle stage included 210 refinement values. The Islamic Education textbook of first Intermediate grade scored the first ranked, followed by the Islamic Education textbook of second grade, while The Islamic Education textbook of third grade the last. Moreover, the results showed that there was no complete balance in the distribution of the refinement values of the teaching on the Islamic education textbooks for the intermediate stage. In light of the results, more attention should be taken of the values of tolerance, chastity, piety, dignity, wishing good for others, charity and backbiting forbidden in the Islamic education textbooks of the intermediate stage in of Iraq.
