This study is aimed to identify the role of teaching strategies in developing peace concepts and discarding violence in the era of knowledge economy and technological (respect, tolerance, responsibility, acceptance, safety and physical health, conflict resolution), The study sample consisted of (238) male and female students from faculty of educational sciences and faculty of physical education at the University of Jordan. The researchers designed a questionnaire that measures the concepts of peace and non-violence, following the scientific methods and statistical practices for the design of this scale, for data collection a statistical analysis was performed appropriately. Results of the study showed that more teaching strategies used in tow faculties respectively, traditional, dialogue and discussion, and cooperative, and they work towards the development of the concepts of peace and non-violence moderately, while the results did not show a statistically significant differences between the two faculties students’ responses on all dimensions of the concepts of peace and non-violence questionnaire, and the results showed significant differences between male and female students. The study recommends the need for greater focus on the development of curriculum concepts of peace and non-violence because of their importance to minimize the campus violence. (Author's abstract)
