The study aimed to uncover the obstacles that hinder the use of real assessment methods to evaluate students’ performance from the point of view of both faculty members and students. The sample of the study incorporate 65 faculty members, and 352 female students from the College of Education in King Saud University. The tool is used in the study is prepared by researchers. The results shows that there are differences between the point of view of both students and faculty members about the obstacles to use the real assessment methods in all measure dimensions, and there are statistically significant differences at 0.05 level or less in student attitudes and faculty members about (obstacles that relate to the students). And, there are a statistically significant differences at level of 0.01 or less in student attitudes and faculty members about (the constraints related to faculty members, the constraints related to systems for the educational process) for the benefit of the students. The study came up with some recommendation to overcome the obstacles that prevent the use of real assessment methods: Reduce the number of students in classroom and preparing educational sessions and workshops for the real assessment methods.
