This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of an enrichment activities, which are based on habits of mind in developing mathematical reasoning and communication on gifted pre-school children in Jeddah City. The researcher used the quasi-experimental method with one group design, the sample included four gifted children after revealing. Three tools have been used in the study and they are: enrichment activities of mathematical concepts (Algebra), composed of four pre-enrichment activities, animation’s videos (habits of mind), and structed observation for the objectives of each standard of mathematical reasoning and communication while applying enrichment activities. The study reached that there are statistical significant differences between the means of gifted children in applying the pre and post observation of mathematical reasoning and proof standard, and mathematical communication standard of applying post observation. The study recommended developing mathematics subject in preschool, by including a certain program which includes mathematical content and processes standards that are shown in (NCTM), which include the reasoning and communication, and to attach them with depth and expansion activities to gifted children.
