The study aimed to identify the most important difficulties faced by faculty members in Saudi universities when using open educational resources and their relation to some variables using the descriptive approach. The study was applied to (358) faculty members from different universities and the lack of scientific specialists who are available to help in the process of continuous communication and follow-up when using open learning resources in addition to the pressures of academic work or administrative assignment, and the most faculty members the ability to face difficulties in the field of e-learning is those with experience of 5-9 years, where the average value of (12.53) and then in the ability to face the difficulties of the degree of associate professor.
