تطوير مناهج العلوم بالمرحلة المتوسطة في ضوء المفاهيم العلمية المتضمنة في رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030م



The current study aimed to develop science curricula in the middle school in the light of the scientific concepts included in the vision of KSA for 2030. To achieve this goal, the content of six science books was analyzed in the middle stage where there were (483) scientific concepts in addition the 2010 vision of KSA was analyzed according to the main scientific concepts in which (125) scientific concepts were included .The most important results of the study: 1)The percentage of scientific concepts distributed regarding the dimension of (vital society) was (37%), which is the same percentage obtained by the dimension of (a prosperous economy), while the lowest percentage was for the dimension of (ambitious homeland) which included 26% of scientific concepts. And as for the distribution of concepts on the axis of dimensions, the largest proportion was concentrated on the axis of (his government is effective), while the lowest axis was (his citizen is responsible). 2)The percentage of the included scientific concepts, existed in the 2030 vision of KSA, in the science books were only 39 % which is considered quite low. The percentage of concepts regarding the dimension of (a prosperous economy) was 54%, followed by 37% for the dimension of (vital community). And as for the concepts including the axes dimensions, (active investment) came to the fore with an inclusion percentage of 67%, while the lowest axe was (attractive competition) which got 0%. The study presented practical suggestions for the development of science books according to the nature of scientific concepts in the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030. (Published Abstract)
