This study examines to what extent the Developed Mathematics Books for 3rd and 4th Grades satisfy the Standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics NCTM. The researcher used the content analysis approach, based on the NCTM standards considering its main branches: content standards and process criteria. The sample of the study is the content of the developed Mathematics books for 3rd and 4th Grades applied in Palestine in the academic year of 2017-2018. This resulted in a sample of four books. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The results of the study showed that the developed books of mathematics for the third and fourth grades for the academic year 2017-2018 comply with the standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) considering its two branches in different levels. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the need to review the different weaknesses found in the Developed Mathematics Books, and to enhance their strength aspects.
