فاعلية برنامج مقترح قائم على الذكاء البصري لتنمية مهارات التصميم الفني لدى طالبات قسم التربية الفنية في كلية الفنون الجميلة بجامعة الأقصى

This study aimed at finding out the effectiveness of a proposed program based on visual intelligence in developing technical design skills among female students of Art Education Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Al-Aqsa University. The study problem was defined in the following main question: " What is the effectiveness of a proposed program based on visual intelligence in developing technical design skills among female students of Art Education Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Al-Aqsa University". From which, the following sub questions were derived: 1) What are the technical design skills that needed to be developed among female students of Art Education Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Al-aqsa University? 2) What is the general theme of the proposed program that is based on visual intelligence used in developing technical design skills among female students of Art Education Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Al-aqsa University? 3) Are there any statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of experimental group students and the mean scores of control group students in the product-rating card of the technical design skills? In the current study, the researcher adopted the experimental approach. The study sample consisted of (30) female students selected from Art Education Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Al-aqsa University who are already enrolled in "design 2" course in the second semester of the academic year (2017/2018). The sample was randomly distributed to two groups, the first is the control group consisting of (15) students, and the second is the experimental group consisting of (15) students either. The researcher constructed the proposed program and the study tool, which is represented in a rating card of the skills product. The program was applied on the experimental group, and the necessary statistical processes were conducted on the pre and after application scores. The study results revealed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students and the mean scores of the control group students in the product-rating card of technical design skills in favor of the experimental group students. The researcher recommended art teachers to use visual stimulus and drivers that assist in enriching visual intelligence among students. This is in addition to training them on reading the visual tools and analyzing them as informational inputs for design technical skills. (Author's abstract)
