The present study aimed to evaluate the topics of nutrition in the elementary stage science books in Palestine in light of the requirements of dietary enlightenment (grades 3 through 9). In order to answer the study questions, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach as they prepared a list of the requirements of dietary enlightenment which consisted of six basic requirements, and 40 indicators. The sample was a purposive one consisting of the elementary stage science books from the third grade to the ninth grade. The appropriate statistical treatments for such studies such as frequencies and percentages were used. The study concluded that the availability of nutrition topics in the elementary stage science books was low as it reached 50%, which is less than the level of adequacy that was determined and reached 80%, the study suggested it is necessary to review the content of the elementary stage science curriculum because some of the books do not include the topics of nutrition and lack dietary enlightenment requirements and it is necessary to take into consideration the principle of the logical sequence of topics and the principle of continuity of content.
