دور التمويل على الأبحاث العلمية في الجامعات السعودية : جامعة الملك سعود أنموذجا
This study aimed to determine the relation between two variables: the role of the university and the role of funding on the quality of a scientific research at King Saud University. The researcher utilized qualitative methods for this study, by tracking, analyzing, and evaluating the role of each of the factors’ effects on the quality of production of scientific research. The study found that the university plays a major role in the scientific research in the various fields of human knowledge and increasing the learning and researches quality depend mainly on the success of learning plans and enough funding, according to that we can say that the researches in Arab countries were badly affected cause of depending only on governmental funding. The study proved that merging between study researches and their lab requirements also badly affected these scientific researches. The study concluded with a set of recommendations and suggestions, including activating university role in scientific research through providing the material and moral support for research centers within universities, linking between research centers and graduate studies through plans and strategies developed to support scientific research programs, and focus on comprehensive projects of scientific research which meet the needs of the community by finding work full-time researchers and searching for strategies to ensure scientific researchers capabilities and available resources.
