The purpose of this Study was to explore the inclusion of the 21st century skills in the content of Science textbooks for the Basic Education Stage in Jordan. To achieve the aims of the study, analytical descriptive method (the technique of content analysis) was used. The sample of the study consisted of its population where including all topics in the content of science textbooks for the (5th, 6th and7th) grades textbooks in the Basic Stage. The instrument of the study was designed in light of the 21st century skills, three domains with (43) items was used: (Learning and Innovation), (Information, Media and Technology) and (Life and Career). The results of the study were : Degree of the inclusion of 21st century skills in the content of textbooks was ranked as medium. The skills of Learning and Innovation got a highest level while the Skills of Life and Career came in the second level, and Lastly, the Skills of Information, Media and Technology came in the lowest level. In the light of the results of the study, some recommendations were offered such as : Revising science textbook content in the light of 21st century skills. (Author’s abstract)
