The present study aimed at exploring some of contemporary challenges facing the teaching of Islamic Creed from Islamic Education teachers’ perspective at the North Al-Mazar in Jordan. Moreover, it aimed at identifying the statistical significance differences (at the significant level α 0.05) on the degree of Islamic Education teachers’ agreement concerningthe actuality of suchchallenges in Islamic creed teaching in favor of personal variables (namely; gender, experience, and scientific qualification). The descriptive analytical approach was used. Thus, a questionnaire was developed into two domains: the first domain was concerned with the primary challenges relevant to the content of the Islamic Creed andits teaching method;while the second domain was concerned with the secondary challenges which consisted of 25 items relevant to the teaching of Islamic Creed. The results of the study showed moderate degrees of challenges that impede the teaching of Islamic Creed in Jordan. In contrast, the study reported high degrees of challenges related to the content of Islamic Creed. Nevertheless, challenges related to the methods of teaching the Islamic Creed wereperceived by Islamic Education teachers in moderate degrees. The results further showed that there were no statistical significant differences (at the significant level α 0.05),throughout the responses of the study’s sample to the level of contemporary challenges hindering the teaching of Islamic Creed at the North Al-Mazar in Jordan, that are related togender and scientific qualification variables; yet statistical significance differences according to the variable of experience were found. The study finallyput forth a set of recommendations. (Author’s abstract)
