The study aimed to identify the level of awareness of school principals in Zarqa Governorate of the components of education for sustainable development, and to identify the impact of gender variables, experience, scientific qualification and management and the stage in it. The study population was composed of (215) managers and managers of all the high school principals in Zarqa Governorate for the academic year 2017/2018. The sample consisted of (257) managers and managers. The sample consisted of (83.6%). Of the study population, and the results showed that the level of awareness of school principals in Zarqa governorate of the components of education for sustainable development came to a high degree where the first place in the social sphere and to a high degree of appreciation, followed by the environmental sphere and to a high degree of appreciation, , As showed The study recommended conducting workshops and seminars among school principals and parents aimed at presenting economic and environmental problems.
