This study aimed to identify the values ​​of tolerance and religious cohabitation in the Arabic language text books for the basic stage in Jordan, And to reveal the appropriateness of the values ​​of tolerance and religious coexistence of these books, also aimed to highlight the importance of publishing these values ​​in the Arabic language books for the basic stage in Jordan, The study sample was formed of all the Arabic language books for the basic stage in Jordan, in the first and second parts, and the researcher prepared a list of values ​​of tolerance and religious coexistence, and the tool of analysis of content, which consisted of (21) paragraph. The results of the study resulted in an imbalance in the inclusion of the values ​​of tolerance and religious coexistence in the content of the Arabic language books for the basic stage in Jordan, And that the value of cooperation in national interests was the most included in those books, The less frequent values ​​are: Refusing the principle of atonement of the other, Prophetic traditions calling for tolerance and religious coexistence, Coexistence of employees at work, The Arabic language book for the sixth grade is the most frequent in the inclusion of the values ​​of tolerance and religious coexistence, The Arabic language book for the first grade was the least frequent in its inclusion of these values. The researcher recommended several recommendations, including: that educational officials are keen to integrate the values ​​of tolerance and religious coexistence in public life. (Author’s abstract)
