متطلبات تطبيق معايير الاعتماد المدرسي ومعوقاته في المدارس الخاصة في العاصمة عمان من وجهة نظر القادة التربويين



The study aimed at identifying the level of availability of the requirements of applying school accreditation standards and its obstacles in private schools in the capital Amman from educational leaders' point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, a survey method was conducted by developing a questionnaire after verifying its validity and stability. It was consisting of 63 paragraphs divided into six axes: organizational requirements, educational requirements, human requirements, organizational obstacles, educational obstacles, and human obstacles. The questionnaire was distributed to all school principals who were about 589 and to about 111 educational supervisors in the private schools in the capital Amman. The population for the study was considered the retrieved 311 questionnaires from the principals which was about 53% of the whole number, and the 42 questionnaires from the supervisors which was about 38% from the whole number. The results of the study revealed that the level of availability of the requirements of applying school accreditation standards in private schools in the capital Amman from educational leaders' point of view was on the average. The arithmetic mean was about 3.34. the results showed that the level of availability of the obstacles of applying school accreditation standards in private schools in the capital Amman from educational leaders' point of view was on the average with an arithmetic mean 3.30. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤ 0.05) between the response averages for the level of availability of the requirements of applying the school accreditation standards due to the gender and the years of experience variables. The results showed also a statistical significance at the level of (α≤0.05) of the level of availability of the requirements of applying school accreditation standards according to the scientific qualification and job title variables. The difference was in favor of (PHD) as a scientific qualification and the job title of an educational supervisor. The results also revealed statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the response averages of the availability of obstacles of applying of the school accreditation standards attributed to gender and scientific qualification in favor of males and the scientific qualification "Master degree". The results also showed the absence of any statistical significance at the level (α≤0.05) for the level of availability of obstacles of applying of school accreditation standards due to experience years and job title variables. According to the study's results, The researcher recommended to show the need to work on a conference on school accreditation includes all the leaders of the private schools in order to come out with recommendations for decision makers to establish a school accreditation authority to raise the level of educational learning process.
