درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الثانوية الحكومية للقيادة الخادمة وعلاقتها بدرجة تطبيق استراتيجيات إدارة الصراع من وجهة نظر المعلمين في محافظة العاصمة عمان



This study aimed at finding out the degree of practicing servant leadership by governmental secondary school principals in the govern narrate of the capital Amman and it’s relation to the degree of applying conflict management strategies, from teacher’s point of view. The sample of study consisted of 335 male and female teachers who were drawer from the population of study by using proportional stratified random sample. Two questionnaires were used to collect date. The first was to measure the degree of practicing several leaderships. The second was to measure the degree of applying conflict management strategies validity and reliability of the two instruments was assured. The findings of the study were as the following: The degree of practicing servant leadership by the government secondary school principals in the government of the capital Amman was high. From teacher‘s point of view, The mean was 3.69 with a standard deviation of 0.63. There were significant differences at (α≤0.05) in the degree of practicing servant leadership by governmental secondary school principals in the governorate of the capital Amman attributed to sex , experience and academic qualification variables . There were no significant differences at (α≤0.05) in the degree of applying conflict management strategies by government secondary school principals in the governorate of the capital Amman attributed to sex and experience variables in the total score and all strategies . There were significant differences at (α≤0.05) in the degree of applying conflict management by governmental secondary school principals in the governorate of the capital Amman attributed to academic qualification in favor of teachers with bachelor degree . There was a positive correlational relationship at between the total score of servant leadership questionnaire and the total score of conflict management strategies questionnaire. The Pearson cancelation coefficient value was 0 .83. There were positive relationship at (α≤0.05) between all the dimension of servant leadership and all the strategies, except the relationship between empowerment dimension and dominating strategy.
