The current research aimed at finding out the extent of integrating the self-learning skills in the chemistry book for the students of third secondary stage who are on the system of courses in Saudi Arabia where the analytical tool included the self-learning skills. The current research limited the study to the chemistry book for the students of third secondary grade who are on the system of courses, edition 1437 AH, 2016 AD. The results of the analysis showed that the degree of integrating the skills of evolving the chemical concepts, skills of biological applications, skills of communication and cooperation, and skills of sustainable development in the chemistry book of the third secondary grade who are on the system of courses were respectively 89.5%, 75%, 40.8%, and 33%. In general, the percentage of integrating the four mentioned skills in the chemistry book of the third secondary grade who are on the system of courses reached 58.6% whereas the skills which were not included in this book were as follows: the content contributes in attaining cooperation with others to achieve learning, the content contributes and aids in solving problems, and the content is tied to the applications of mathematics.
