دور البحوث التربوية في الدراسات الاجتماعية والتربية الإسلامية في عملية التطوير التربوي بسلطنة عمان والتحديات التي تواجهها من وجهة نظر المتخصصين



The study aimed at investigating the role of educational research in social studies and Islamic education in the educational development process in the Sultanate of Oman and its challenges from the specialists' point of view. Data was gathered by using a questionnaire which consisted of (52) items distributed into six domains. The Validity was examined by a group of referees and the reliability was examined by using Alpha Chronbach which was (.86). The data was collected from (105) social studies and Islamic education participants. The results showed that the educational research contributes moderately in the process of educational development in the Sultanate of Oman, and there are a number of obstacles which prevent great benefit from educational research, some of which are linked to educational research itself, some of which is linked to the field of education. The results also showed that those who are specialties are interested in the application of some measures to reduce barriers to take advantage of educational research. The study recommends promoting trust between researchers and educational developers in the education field of education and developing a research map of the needed for the field of education.
