The research aims to set the level of accuracy selecting topics for doctoral dissertations in gifted education according to precise criteria; ascertain the extent of methodology agree with these thesis's addresses; and identify the area that focused on by these dissertations. Study sample consisted of all doctoral theses (27) in gifted education, which has been validated by the Council of Graduate School and then was awarded his doctorate degree in the period from 2011 to 2015. This study is based on descriptive and analytical approach of the topics and methodology of the dissertations, by answering the following question: Do the dissertations of gifted education in the Arabian Gulf University consistent with the criteria for their selection and approval? What is the extent of these dissertations with the scientific methodology used in? In addition, where are the topics of these distractions distributed according to the areas of talent and creativity field? The search results that 40.7% of the study sample has a standard (very good) in the originality of the title, and his ability to solve the problem related to the field of giftedness, and that 51.9% of theses has a standard (very good) in addressing research problems the importance of community study. Most of these studies have focused on the quasi-experimental approach by (15) study; while experimental studies are not applying accordingly, and the descriptive studies came (seven) while correlation (five). The field of the dissertations in giftedness was varied fields of research, however the field of creativity was to focus on more than other areas, where (7) dissertations addressed this area. The research found a number of recommendations from the results. (Published Abstract)
