القيم السّياسيّة والاقتصاديّة والدّينيّة في كتاب الأدب والنّصوص للصّف الثّالث المتوسّط في العراق

This study aimed at identifying the political, economic and religious values included within the textbook of literature and texts for the middle third grade and the degree of including these value in the textbook. The researcher used the descriptive approach by using content analysis method. The research population and sample consisted of the textbook of literature and texts for middle third grade in Iraq. To achieve the study aims, the researcher prepared a list which included the political, economical and religious values which should be found. The list consisted of 34 statements contributed to three domains. The researcher also prepared content analysis tool to calculate frequencies and percentage for each value and he depended the statement as an analysis unit. After conducting the validity and reliability coefficient and extracting the frequencies and percentages of values, the results revealed that the textbook included the political values in the first rank with percentage of 47.72 followed by religious values with percentage of 31.81, then the economical values with percentage of 20.45. In the light of the results the study ended with some recommendations. One of the most important recommendations is taking care of including the Arabic textbook the religious values as well as adding variety in the political issues within the book. (Author’s abstract)
