There is a great importance given to childhood in the contemporary world, which is characterized by the era of the information and technological revolution and satellite broadcasting and so on, as it is TV one important means near to the recipient because it occupies generally a prominent place in society and childhood in particular, it is not only a source of amusement and fun, but it also a mean of expanding the child’s perceptions due to influential means of technology. The role of television-oriented program for children may be moving in a positive or negative through its (Series program and a variety of general programs or what it related to educational programs including teaching drawing in particular). With reference to the above mentioned, the researcher conducted academic study regarding to the assessment of children’s television programs in teaching drawing according to design instructional television lessons, so, it has adopted to 3 television programs, which are (Acrylics –Al-Majid channel in Suedia Arabia, Small drawing studio- Iraqi channel, Come to draw in Space-toon channel). The current study aims at; 1) Assessing television programs for teaching drawing in terms of both form and content. 2) The extent of matching the form of children’s programs in teaching drawing with the rules of designing instructional television lessons. To verify the aims of study, the researcher limited the population of the study by instructional lessons delivered via satellite mentioned earlier within television programs for the academic year 2013, about 144 instructional lesson in the amount of 48 for each. The sample consisted 24 instructional lessons which are selected randomly and distributed in the amount of 8 instructional lesson for each program. Instructional lesson evaluation form is designed for television programs which are included 4 aspects; 1) Material presentation. 2) Technical aspects. 3) The physical appearance of lesson's introducer. 4) Instructional aspect. The current instrument exposed to jury members to identify the content validity and their suitability for measuring the aim which is set for it. The tool has been verified its reliability through analyzing a pilot study, so the reliability coefficient was 0.87. To show the results of the study, the researcher relied on frequencies and percentage, the most important results are: 1) The introducer of instructional lesson T.V. programs adopt one pattern represented by a readable one in introducing technical material. 2) Some of introducers in instructional lesson T.V. programs make simple change in their tactics during the presentation of lesson material for instructional lesson T.V. programs as in come to draw program. The main recommendations are: 1) The necessity of patterns diversity which introduced instructional lessons in the field of fine arts, especially drawing, so as to involve the largest possible number of the child's senses, which is reflected on the artistic expressions. Introducers in instructional lesson T.V. programs directed to children must be aware of how to use diversity in the process of introducing methods in order to attract the attention of children about artistic and influence them in keeping their content through the use of a variety of methods to raise their sensory suspense and auditory perceptions about the material.
