This research aimed to: 1) determining the international standards (NSES) included in the content of Physics curriculum of intermediate stage. 2) Investigating the familiarity of intermediate school physics teachers of standards of (NSES). This is achieved by answering the following question : 1) Does the of knowledge of physics teachers of the intermediate stage in standards (NSES) reach to level of 80% by the test, which was prepared for this purpose? In order to achieve the aims, researcher used the descriptive way using the following steps: 1) Preparation of initial form of international standards ((NSES through access to literature of Arabic and English national standards Scientific American Educational (NSES), theses was presented to a group of arbitrators to meet the requirements of validity of tool, then analyzing the content of Physics curriculum of intermediate stage for the academic year (2014- 2015), and adopted the explicit idea unit for, the reliability was in agreement with an external analyst and researcher himself. 2) Preparing the test international standards (NSES) in light of the analysis fields, and presented to a group of arbitrators to achieve the validity and then make sure the clarity of the paragraphs of the test and the suitability of the levels of science teachers and calculate the time required to answer and account sincerity of internal consistency and reliability coefficient of discrimination and difficulty and effectiveness of alternatives, application test on an exploratory sample of 100 teachers, then apply the test on the sample core composed of 100 teachers in the second semester of the academic year (2014-2015 m) who were selected randomly from Qadisiyah governmental schools. SPSS and (Microsoft excel) used to find statistical results as the following: 1) The physics curriculum of third grade average is most interested in the fields of international standards (NSES) for having a ratio 36.09%, and the Physics curriculum of second grade 33.53%, then the Physics curriculum of first grade 30.37%. 2) The fields of international standards ((NSES) in the curriculum of physics arrangement follows (the field of science as a way of survey, the field of the physical sciences, the field of the history and nature of science, the science of Personal and Social Perspectives). 3) The level of knowledge of teachers of physics with standards (NSES) was less than the required limit of 80% of the total score to test the international standards. In light of the search results, the researcher put 8 recommendations including: 1) the necessity of taking advantage of the National Science Education Standards (NSES) of all fields in the development of physics curriculum. 2) Interest content to be added, which guarantees availability of international standards (NSES) in the fields of (physical sciences, science as a way survey, the history and nature of science, the science of Personal and Social Perspectives). 3) Increase the effectiveness of scientific activity by encouraging students to participate in scientific activities that serve the curriculum and help in developing the spirit of research, survey among students. 4) The researcher advise teachers in general and teachers of physics in particular, to develop themselves and enrich their knowledge through continuing access to scientific books outside the curriculum so that they can keep pace with scientific development and benefit students in all fields. The researcher suggested 5 proposals, including: 1) conducting a similar study of the content of physics books in elementary and secondary stages in the light of international standards (NSES) and the extent of their knowledge of teachers. 2) Conduct studies for other fields of the US standards for scientific breeding (NSES) such as teaching standards and professional growth.
