معوقات تطبيق إدارة المعرفة بالمرحلة الابتدائية بالمدارس الحكومية في مدينة جدة من وجهة نظر القائدات والمعلمات

This research study aimed to discover the existing barriers that hinder leaders from implementing knowledge management in the primary public schools in Jeddah, in addition to discovering the needed requirements to activate this management. To attain this purpose, the study adopted quantitative descriptive- analytical research design, and utilized the questionnaire to collect data from a sample of (364) female teachers and (140) educational leaders. Findings showed that there are barriers to implementing knowledge management related to teachers and school administration at a high degree with means (4.04) and (3.88) respectively. Moreover, there is significant statistical difference at the level of (α<0.05) between the means of teachers’ responses about school administration- related barriers to implementing knowledge management that can be referred to the teachers’ academic qualification and years of experience. The study recommended raising teachers’ awareness about the importance of sharing their experiences and skills, and its impact on supporting the knowledge culture in the school and creating a work environment that supports professional collaboration between teachers in the field of knowledge management.
