This study aimed to find out the extent to which science teachers apply the principles of equity among students in the classroom from the students' point of view. In addition, to find out if these views different according to gender, achievement level and interaction between the two variables. The study followed the descriptive approach, where the study sample consisted of (1060) students studying in the tenth grade of basic education in the Sultanate of Oman. The study was implemented during the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. In order to achieve the aims of the study, a survey based questionnaire was constructed, and it consisted of (30) items divided into four domains (reliability value 0.92). The results of the study showed that students see that the teacher exercises equity sometimes. It also indicated that there are differences in favor of males in the teacher's practices related to the relationship between the student and the teacher, and that the differences are in favor of females in relation to the teacher's practices for the distribution of tasks and assessment methods, and that the differences in the level of achievement in favor of a “good” level in the teacher's practices related to teaching strategies used in the classroom . The study recommended directing teachers to enhance equity in the classroom practices and conducting more studies on this field. (Published abstract)
