The study aimed to identify the concepts of psychological resilience flexibility included in the social studies books for the upper basic stage in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the content analysis approach, one of the methods of the descriptive method, and he prepared tool for the study to psychological flexibility concepts contained in the social studies books, the study sample consisted of three books for the eighth, ninth, and tenth grades in Jordan, the study tool included (20) indicators distributed into (4) components, psychological hardness, multiple sources, goal and positive thinking, After verifying the validity and reliability of the study, the researcher conducted a statistical analysis, Extracting the frequencies and percentages of the concepts of psychological resilience in the social studies books for the eighth, ninth and tenth. The results were as follows: The National and Civic Education Book for the ninth grade ranked first with( 815) recurrences, he tenth grade book came in second place with 786 recurrences, The eighth grade book for national education came in third and last place with666 recurrences, The study recommended that civic and civic education books should include a set of situations that make students face challenges to their psychological abilities, and civic and civic education curricula should be reconsidered in order to include the concepts of psychological resilience.
