To achieve the goals of the study, Survey descriptive approach was followed, where two valid and reliable questionnaires were developed to collect the data: the first was to measure the degree of emotional competences, where the second to measure the degree of self- efficacy among the sample of the study. The results showed that the female teachers of the first three grades in the private schools in the Zarqa Education Directorate possessed the emotional competencies to a moderate degree, while the degree of their possession of self-efficacy in teaching was high. The results also showed that there is a positive (directive) relationship with statistical significance between the degree of possessing emotional competencies and the degree of possessing self-efficacy in teaching for the study sample. In light of these results, the study recommended a number of recommendations, including the need to work on improving the emotional competencies of female teachers in private schools through improving the work environment, raising wages, and appreciating their efforts.
