The current study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a program for mindfulness development in improving executive functions for kindergarten children with Attention Deficits/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Quasi-experimental methodology with one group was utilized by the researcher, and the sample consisted of15 children with ADHD ranging between 6-7 years old. In the current study, tools included the mindfulness scale (prepared by the researcher), the mindfulness-based program (prepared by the researcher). It was found statistically significant differences between mean degrees of children with ADHD before and after applying the program on the Mindfulness Scale in favor of post measurement. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences between mean degrees of children with ADHD before and after applying the program on the Executive Functions Scale in favor of post measurement. Moreover, there were statistically significant differences between mean degrees of children with ADHD on post and follow-up measurements on the Mindfulness Scale. Finally, there were no statistically significant differences between mean degrees of children with ADHD on post and follow-up measurements on the Executive Functions scale. Findings of the current study are discussed according to theoretical framework and literature review. (Published abstract)
