The present study aimed at designing a counseling program according to Thorn’s vision in eclectic counseling, and being familiar with the program effectiveness in reducing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The main sample of the study consisted of (20) students from the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of primary school in Bani Ahmed Gharbia primary school, 13 males and 7 females with learning disabilities and attention deficit with hyperactivity. They were divided into two groups, one control and the other experimental group, each with 10 students. The average age was (10,43) years and the standard deviation was (0,75), Applying the tools of the study, the results showed that the eclectic counseling program is effective in reducing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder under the study, in addition to the presence of significant difference between the averages order degrees for both the control and experimental group in the post application of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder scale in favor of the experimental group, and the continued effectiveness of the eclectic counseling program after the follow-up period.
