تقييم وثيقة المعايير الأكاديمية الوطنية المرجعية (nars) في الجامعات اليمنية ومتطلبات تطبيقها
The study aimed to evaluate the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) document and the requirements for its application, by reviewing the intellectual fundamentals underpinning the approach of the NARS, and the development efforts of academic programs in Yemen until the issuance of NARS during 2017-2018. The study also aimed to evaluate the NARS in terms of its construction methodology, and the requirements of its application. To achieve this, the study used the critical analytical descriptive method, and the content analysis card as a data collection tool. The study concluded that the NARS document lacks many requirements, whether related to the procedures for its preparation, or the requirements for its application at the level of academic programs in Yemeni universities. To address this, a number of recommendations and suggestions were proposed to provide the necessary requirements to activate the role of the NARS document in developing study programs in Yemeni universities.
