This study aims to determine if the authors of Islamic education school textbooks use scientific accuracy in their writing psychomotor learning outcomes. It was conducted using descriptive research method and content analysis approach. The instrument used in this study is an analysis tool that evaluates the psychomotor learning outcomes found in school textbooks. The study revealed that the criteria for constructing a psychomotor learning outcome were only applicable to 12 phrases out of 319 total phrases in the elementary stage and only 11 phrases out of 304 in the intermediate level. The study presented some of the possible reasons behind the previous results and proposed that textbooks authors and other practitioners should use the criteria established in the current study to develop psychomotor learning outcomes. It also suggested that researchers should conduct similar studies to other school subjects to compare their results with present study. (Published abstract)
